I come from Bristol, England. I have been a full-time musician since leaving school. I spent 12 years gigging around the London pub circuit. I had a band called Altastate in the late nineties. We supported the Stereophinics, played the Phoenix festival and had a couple of singles on the playlist at XFM. I work half a year in Switzerland and half a year in England. There is a full set list on my website. I give copies of this list to the audience so they can choose what songs I play. I try to avoid the songs all pub singers tend to play. No Sweet Home Alabama or Proud Mary. You're more likely to hear the Kaiser Chiefs, Muse, The Sex Pistols or Nirvana at one of my gigs! More about Chris Black on his web site
